As a youngster I used to sit and watch my sister who was ten years older than me apply her make-up all the time. I mastered the art of applying false eye lashes/nails and block mascara (max factor) liquid eyeliner and panstick (remember that) by the time I was 13.Of course at rhe time I could never get away with going out like with it on. |

Hi Linda,Me toolol! I was 12 also,I remember getting 5 pounds for my birthday from an aunt,I went to the local chemist and blew it all on rimmel make-up. i bought those eye shadows in a stick, every colour I could find. The colours were really awful, but I loved them, one was an awful gold colour I thought it was Gorgeous. Mum and Dad went mad at me for wasting my money, I could only wear them in the house, which now seems like a blessinglol |

I first discovered make up when I was about 5, I used to sneak into my sisters room and plaster my face with everything she had lol It was about the same time I discovered high heeled or as I like to call them lady shoes I would strut about in my sisters make up and lovely navy blue platforms. The first lipstick I bought was when I was about 13 or 14 and it was bright raspberry red/pink. I've still got it because it's just too bright to suit me. No idea why I bought it now. My friend did my make-up for me when we went to a party the other day - I very rarely wear it - and when I came home it took me six or seven cotton wool balls with cleanser to get it all off. I can't believe she wears that much every day. |

what was your biggest mistake with it ? I was about 12 and I discovered PINK lipstick. I thought I looked the bees knees. My Mum however thought I looked frightening. Well it was about an inch thick..........soooooooo embarassing. Lin x |
