Now I can comment on this as its happened to me..... when we read the written word its simple to put the wrong context on it that relates to our own mood rather than the person that has scribed the words themselves.... So for future reference I will state quite happily that I promise to read each thread positively and not as a dig..... so if you want to dig at me please PM me, otherwise I will take your responce light heartedly!! Anyone else want to take this pledge?

I remember meeting Beryl in Liverpool who said that now she had met me she would read every thread i write differently (she'll have her tongue in her cheek now) Plus I sent the new man a text at the weekend that he read as a dig cos he had a grumpty head on and yet I was howling with laughter!! So I will be smiling when i read and if I am grumpty I will stay away or have the decency to say I am!!

Tottally agree. If I'm in a sensitive mood when reading something (not necessarily on here), and think someones having a pop at me...I leave well alone and revisit it 10mins later...always works!! ~I sign up to the pledge Caz

Isn't it the same with emails and even msn, unless you see the persons reactions you can't always realise how they ment it. Like the way i write.i admit not having the grammar can make it sound totaly differet.
