I have been trying (without success) to find a child adopted by my grandparents Henry and Jane Fletcher. The adopted girl was named 'Fanny' with date of birth given as 1896 on the 1901 census..Can anyone advise as to how I might find out about her. They lived in Walworth, Southwark at the time and had two other children of their own - Jane and Henry Daniel (my dad). any help would be greatly appreciated before I give up all hope. |
