I am babysitting my daughter's two tonight. Sophie, who is 3 and her brother, Aaron who is 20 months, and the human dynamo. He never sits still for a minute. Who else has overnight grandkids tonight?

That's what I miss living so far away..only 60 miles but too far to babysit. I'd love to do that.

I try not to let mine sleep over as 1 night often turns into 2 then 3 then 4. Find it hard to say no but I really do have to put my foot down. My kids never slept over at anybodys and I never had a baby sitter so if I went out mine came with me. Tried telling that to my daughter and she says all his friends sleep at their nannas.lol He has lived with me often enough so he is not missing out on anything

my daughter and grand son normally get a taxi home but as he got a scooter with flashing lights around the footplate he insisted on scootering home.

Me! Had a wonderful day yesterday and when Mum comes to pick her up we'll all going out for Sunday lunch. Madam will be resplendent in the same blonde Disney's Aurora wig we bought in Bristol yesterday while we were out shopping. Grandad was not fooled by her 'dishguise' though and recognised her as soon as we got home. In actual fact, he completely failed to noticed that her hair was a foot longer, at least 2 feet wide and bright blonde curls.LOL The wind is howling again and woken me up. I'm sitting here with a cuppa thinking I've only got about 3 hours before she's bouncing around again. I may fall asleep in the soup! Mags xx

I was baby sitting too - well hardly a baby. Grandson has lived with us since he was born but it's not that often that his mum goes out. One day they might move ??? but I've really enjoyed being able to see him so much as a youngster. Sometimes it gets to me that there is so much of his stuff around and then I remember my friend who is not able to see her grandchildren because of upset in the family. What's a bit of mess compared with the joy they bring? Gwyn
