I get emails off them too but haven't tried them. £2.99 isn't a bad price it cost more than that at a slimming world I went to. I told you you should have given me those chocolates ;-) Try to think of it as healthy eating, a permanent lifestyle change as opposed to a diet and don't forget don't completely ban anything or, if you're anything like me, you'll want it even more lol |

Hi TOR I understand what you're saying and in a way I agree with you. Perhaps I ought to say that I want advice on eating more healthily and lose some weight into the bargain lol! I did Slimmers' World a few years ago, lost 2 stone and managed to keep it off for quite a long time but then I became ill (totally unrelated to diet I might add!) and the weight crept back on, mostly due to medication. Teresa, thanks for the very kind offer but I think I will probably join this one. I just wondered if anyone had any good or bad experiences with it. Mandy (watch this space for the healthier, slimmer version lol!) :) |

YOu would probably spend more than that if you joined slimmers club. I'm the same as you and can't get much exercise at the moment, so losing weight is a real challenge. I'll have a look at any future emails I get from them, if you want, I can forward them to you, just PM your email address. |

Mandy - personally don't believe in diets but each to their own and Good Luck. On of the women I work with does Weightwatchers online - she seems quite happy with that and is losing weight. T.O.R. ;o)) |

Hi Teresa Oh no! I haven't received one single email about them and would quite liked to have done lol! It was only when I saw the magazine advert that I thought I'd look at it in a bit more detail on the website. Still debating whether it's worth parting with £30 or whether it would be better spent on a new frock;) Mandy :) |

I saw an advert in Good Housekeeping magazine for them; there are about a dozen different ones, based on your lifestyle, health or just what you want to achieve. It costs £2.99 a week for a minimum of 10 weeks and you have access to online support 24 hours a day. You can print off shopping lists for their menus too, knowing that it’s items they (should!) have in store. I can’t do much exercise due to a my health problem, but I’m at high risk of developing diabetes so I’m really going to try hard to lose some weight. This looks a good way of getting the motivation from joining something, without having to attend a class or weigh-in at a set time (which is also sometimes difficult for me). Any comments or advice? Mandy :) |
