HAD CALL FROM THE SCHOOL,JOSIE HAD A FALL AND HIT HER EYE,,,WHEN WE GOT HER IT WAS A BIT MORE THAN HER EYE AND ITS TURNING WAS TURNING BLACK,TOOK HER TO CASULTY...SHES VERY LUCKY THE SKIN DIDN'T SPLIT,AND IT'S A HUGE BUMP DOWN HER FORHEAD AND RIGHT ON HER EYE TONIGHT MY DAUGHTER HAS TO WAKE HER EVERY HOUR THROUGH THE NIGHT,DAUGHTER SAID HOW AM I GOING TO DO THAT..THEN SAID OH SHES STAYIN WITH YOU ISNT SHE....................OH NO SHE ISNT TIMES LIKE THIS IS WHEN ITS HER MUMS RESPONSABLILTY |

Poor little girl. I bet it hurts. Grandson had a HUGE bump on his forehead once but was soon OK. I've never heard of having to wake a child through the night. As you say, I think that's her Mum's job. Hope Josie will soon feel better. Gwyn |

THE REASON SHE HAS TO BE WOKEN IS FOR CONCUSSION BECAUSE THE EYE BROW DOWN TOOK 99% OF THE HIT HER EYE IS NEARLY CLOSED,,WHEN SHE FELL OFF THE TRIM TRAIL AN FELL DOWN HITTING HER EYE PART ON THE WOODEN TRAIL THE TEACHER SAW IT HAPPEN |

Waking someone every hours after a head injury is normal pratice in hospital, but normally A&E will admitt them for overnight observations - it's quite bruttal really and everyone hates doing it unless the kid had gone and got drunk then they don't mind so much. Remind daughter to talk to Josie when she wakes her, still questions like whats you name or date of birth and does she know where she is - these just make sure that Josie is orientated, but if she's worried to go back to A&E. |

Lunar years ago OH was helping on a relatives building site while on holiday.three storie house coming down the ladder broke,he fell ,he was taken to hospital unconsious,three hours later sent home he walked in threw up,i got him to the car where he blacked out me holding him over the car bonnet,someone heard me shouting to call ambulance,,he was admitted with concussion |
