Just home from work son left me a note as side gate was broken and he didnot know if i had any padlocks so put a bolt and nut though to keep it shut. I have been out to put a lock on and brother's caravan is on half a cross the top of the yard was at the bottem this morning and at least one tile has fell off the roof, at least the roof is still on the garage Valxxx |

Hi all, Well we don't have snow, but we do have those terrible storms. In fact there are no trains at all riding in the whole of the Netherlands. Unique, yes, in all the years I have lived here I have never known this situation. We too have had terrible accidents with so many old trees toppling onto cars and lorries being lifted off the road etc.etc. Now we are in for a night of flood warning. Frightening? Yes, a bit just think where I live used to be the sea and they've reclaimed the land. We are only 30 years old. We were going to a birthday today but changed our minds when we heard the weather forecast. Sylvia xxx |

It's been awful here today, son was sent home from school as 2 parts of the roof blew off.All the children are safe thank goodness. Daughter came home from college, they have shut two parts of college off, due to the damage, and the train station was hit too. So many people have had damage. We are so lucky really. Heather x |

Thousands of homes in Essex Suffolk and Norfolk without power, dozens of roads closed by toppled lorries, fallen trees and flooding, roof's off, schools closed, debris flying everywhere, damaged houses by falling trees.....but otherwise OK lol |
