Oh dear. I'm glad I decided against going to the uni library today then. The m55/m6 is my route and it's a horrible thing on a nice day. This weather is scaring me a little now! |

Left work at 5pm and got in doors 20 mins ago. Usually takes 30 mins to get home even in rush hour traffic but due to lorries overturning on motorway everyone decided to go back routes and then of course fallen trees, several minor accidents and quite a few large puddles slowed everything down to a crawl. Walked through my front door to be told that half the fence had blown down so more expense added to the kitchen that has been ripped out and house looking like building site for next month. But then again what do we expect from the good old English weather. |

I sympathise, Jay. I did work experience in Preston and I know just what that roundabout's like outside the rush hour. I have a bit of a thing against the A59/M6 roundabout as it is. Don't know where all this bad weather came from. |

55k homes without power tonight in Yorkshire - lucky for me - not here! Next door but 2 has a beech tree through her shed roof. In town, a roof tile knocked a chap unconcious so the road is closed. Debby |

What's it like where you are? OH is stuck in the office as Preston is gridlocked due to trees/slates/debris and M6 being closed! |
