Yes. About 8 inches of the nasty stuff....on top of an inch of ice. Would you like a few buckets full? Lol |

Hi Jennifer, Michigan USA, not as much as New York but we had mostly ice storms, left about 60,000 homes without electricity day before yesterday. Lucky where I am we didn't have it as bad as some parts. Fiona. x |

Forecast after the weekend for the East I thought, will have to wait and see, don't like driving in it - have been caught a couple of times and hated being stuck for ages in slow moving skiddy slidey traffic where some people don't drive any differently to their usual scatty way and block junctions etc just to get a few yards further on the road. Stay safe everyone, don't forget to take the gear you need, a shovel, sand in a bag, a blanket, boots, deicer and scraper, a flask of hot drink if you are travelling far, or at least a bottle of water, and something to eat, all within reach of the driving seat, so you don't have to get out to open the boot. |
