Paul - I used it for stress migraines. Was very cynical but at stage that I was willing to try anything. Took about 4 sessions to work I now go once every 6 - 8 weeks for a booster. £30 per session. T.O.R. |

Hi Paul, My husband had it and gave up with acupuncture, but I have to say he was also determined to give up,so will power had alot to do with it too. Best of luck Roxanne x |

Its expensive too, my hubby had daily sessions at 40 euros a time, I think it was the cost that made him more determinedlol |

Hi Paul, my commiserations in your trying to stop smoking! I tried everything, including Acupuncture which was great. I felt wonderful and stopped..for a month. But it is up to you. What worked for me (after 40 years smoking) was joining a self help group. Best of luck. XX BC |

thanks for the replies, i am determined and i can do a few days but then it just consumes me. i cant think of anything else apart from smoking and i hate myself the moment i give in and smoke. i also justify it to myself, 'oh i'll only smoke at weekends' or 'i'll only smoke when im out drinking'. all rubbish and i know it! need to find something, maybe i'll move to california, its banned there i think! paul.... |

Had accupuncture for pain relief and it works.Gave up smoking 12 years ago through will-power alone. You have got to really want to give up the dreaded weed before anything works. |

Paul, I am exactly like you. I have tried everything including acupuncture, hypnotherapy even ' husband therapy '... he took me to the Lake District and left me in a field (in a caravan) it was in an isolated spot....no shops...no pubs....it didn't work. I do want to quit, I really really do....so if you find a way that works for you please let me know. Beryl x who's Father came from Hampshire. :>)) |
