Yep, dad was based at Marham and mum was in hospital for 3 months before I was born. Always say I will go to Ely one day just to say I have been to the place I was born as never been back |

Sadly the RAF is no more, its the Princess of Wales hospital, mostly for primary care of the elderly. Seems wrong somehow. You should go to Ely, I often do as my mum still lives there. |

I honestly dont remember filling in 3 census forms. I know I did one in 1981 but cant remember doing any since although I must have done. Okay so we now have 4 years to think what we will put on the next one. Thinking caps on......... |

Pretty straightforward I think 1951 At home in Coventry with parents - maiden name used 1961 Depends when census done as married in 18 March that year. If before 18 still in Coventry with parents. If after 18 March living Warwickshire. 1971 Back to Coventry living on own with child - married name. 1981 Same as previous census. 1991 Now living on own. 2001 Back into Warwickshire |

Mine won't be too bad untill the 2001 census, even though I lived in Warwickshire and Germany inbetween. 1971 Shropshire with parents. 1981 Shropshire with parents. 1991 Shropshire own house with maiden name as I went back to it after divorce. 2001 Moved to USA just before census and was too late for USA census as it was 2000. 2010 Michigan USA. New name. |

won't be my place of living that will confuse just the surnames LOL 1981 home with maiden name 1991 at future inlaws but still maiden name no children 2001 living in own place still in maiden name but living with partner and four kids - all kids with my maiden name. 2011, well I'll prob be here still!!! am now married and any of the kids if still at home will have our married name!!! I never appeared in my first married name, the real problem will be trying to find my daughters birth record, as she never actually appears in any census with her orginal registered name. By 2011, in theory she could've left home and married as well!!! Boys also might be a prob as their orginal entry was in my maiden name but you now can not buy that copy, you'll be refered to the re-registration... so actually theirs won't be too hard. well why should i make it easy... no one has made it easy for me LOL |

The places I lived won't but they might get a bit confused when they see the religion I put down on 2001 census. Naughty me didn't realise how important the census was at the time. |
