I am desperately trying to find out the dates of deaths for my great-great grandparents. I am researching my family history as a project for a university course and i need to find these dates! Their names are Thomas (born 1869) and Elizabeth Marwood (born c1869) They lived in Woolwich and had six children. If anyone has any info that could help, I would be very grateful! |

There is this birth on Ancestry:- Name: Thomas John Marwood Year of Registration: 1869 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Woolwich County: Greater London, Kent, London Volume: 1d Page: 876 To get the exact date you would need to order the certificate. Do you know Elizabeth's maiden name? UPDATE - SORRY, just realised it's the deaths you want. Have you any idea when they were last known to be alive? Were they present at any of the marriages of their children. Without some idea of when they were last alive, it is too big a job to search for their deaths. They could possibly have lived right up to the 1950's, so it means a hard slog trawling through the complete index of deaths, qtr. by qtr and year by year. Kath. x |

What's the last census you have them in ?? |

The last census they appear in is 1901. I know they were both alive in 1910 as they had twins in that year. I believe that Thomas may have died around 1936/7 but I have no idea as to elizabeths d.o.d |

Keelie if I was you I'd search ancestry BMD from 35 -40 for thomas. If not there 40 -45, etc.. Once found him order death cert see who notified of death could have been elizabeth. Another option - do you have the marriage certs of their offspring. Might help you narrow it down further. |

I've looked at the deaths for 1934 to 1938 and can't find a death for Thomas Marwood registered in Woolwich. Kath. x |
