Hi Jude, I hope you have a great time with your half brother when you meet up. I have scanned all of my old photos and I am now going through several thousand more up to date ones to put them all on disc to keep. The old ones I have had copies done and put some into multi frames and have displayed them at home. They look good and are usually a topic of conversation with visitors - even my daughter's teenage friends. Other copies I have put into very old albums bought in antique shops or old style new albums. I did albums for 3 neices at Christmas with over 100 photos and a detailed list of who the people were and any information I had about them. The list had a tiny copy of the photo next to the name so that they didn't get muddled up! (Well, it might run in the family!) The canvas idea sounds good. If you do a collage photo and take to a shop, they may be able to do it for you at a reasonable cost. Our local photography shop does this and I was quite surprised at how reasonable it sounded although I have forgotten how much! Jacky :-)

Hello Jacky - love the photo's. l can't understand why people throw photo's away especially the really old ones, or write on the blooooomin backs. l have loads and l don't know who they are!!! But l won't get rid of them. An old relation of Vics said she'll look at some for me, so must do some copies for her. We come across quite a few in the charity shop. l've been scanning some om old ones for my half brother in America (we see him in 3 weeks). His sister says he just loves to see old photo's of our dad and granddad - l wanted to put a number of them onto one canvas but l think it will be too expensive, trying to think of way to show them off but not just in frames, something different- ANY IDEA'S:o)) jude sarf wales :o)

Thank you Gillie. I know I am lucky to have photos of 5 of my Great Grandparents who were born back as far as 1844. I share 2 of them with 4 other GR members! Jacky :-)
