Family comming so its roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, b.sprouts, peas & mashed swede, s&o stuffing, sausage & bacon rolls. Followed by apple pie &/or a choice of Tom & Jerry ice cream from freezer (got 4 different ones for over Christmas & they are still there) Do not always do roast on Sundays for just OH & me,but as it is Grandchildrens favourite meal,I do some kind of roast meat every other week, when they come.

Nothing very exciting today - thick pork chops, roast potatoes, stuffing, new potatoes, carrots, sprouts and broccoli. No pudding I'm afraid - OH is border-line diabetic so we have to watch the sugar intake. Puddings, cakes and biscuits are therefore always in short supply here to prevent temptation !!!

Do not do a roast that often when there is only the 2 of us. Only cook lunch time on Christmas day - otherwise around 7.45 pm Spanish time - later in the summer. Today we are having perca - hope that is spelt right - some kind of perch I think with potatoes, peas and beans and of course a bottle of chilled white wine. Mind you that roast lamb sounds loverley !!!!!!!!!!! Mary in Spain xx
