My son Harry was 3 on Christmas day-which means he's entitled to a nursery place for a couple of hours. I have had his name down at a lovely place for a bit-anyway the other day I rang to ask if he was still being considered. Ruth the lovely manager said 'Oh I was gonna ring you tonight, can you come with him on the 30th Jan then he can start on the 31st.' 'ok' I said then put the phone down and cried my heart out. It all happend so quick. I wasn't expecting it. Immediately rang OH crying- He's my baby-and I will be counting the mins till he's home with me. I feel so stupid-but I have to let him go- catherine xx

Hi Carol, my lovely friend-you are so right- you know she could have said to me-he can start on the 30th july and I'd have said ok- It would have meant he were with me longer. But I can't be selfish- this is for him but I know that first day when I drop him off It will be so hard to leave him-I will prob cry all the way home. catherine xx

Catherine Tiddler goes to the nursery attached to school and when we went back on Tuesday they were all saying oh this bit will fly by and before you know it they will be in reception, poor little things they are sooooo tiny (well tiddler isnt lol) and its only January was as if they couldnt wait to get rid of them. First few days will be weird but you will soon get used to it and he will come home full of his new friends and what hes done
