Errm errm Pass Personally I define a newbie as (and this may be all or some of these ) a newly posting member, some who dont really know many people who currently post,....and many people who dont, in turn, know them. Those who are unsure of the way the site or board works. .......................................... Oldies ........ are those who have been on Gr for a a considerable amount of months or years. old members.............normally this is assigned to those who were members previously who have rejoined as new members ....sometimes its used in past tense as members who have left GR for good. Long standing members ...........those who have been on here for what sees like a lifetime, those who joined within the first few years of GRs birth...... Id like to add, that when people refer to someone as an oldie, newbie, long standing member or old member, its not a cut and dry statement which lumps everyone into the subject which is being discussed hope this helps, although one persons interpretation may be different from others Elaine x |
