When my OH connects his ipod to the computor and goes into itunes it wipes off everything he had on there. What are we doing wrong?? Thanks |

Thanks Errol will have a look at that Fi We take them out once he had put them on cos i have one too and we ended up putting all his tunes on mine |

How long have you had the ipod. is this the first time you are attaching it to the pc since you put the tunes on originally? |

Check that you have different log-ins and wipe out the synchronising option |

If you empty the library and then connect the ipod it will update whatever you have in the library. If the library is empty it will wipe everything on the ipod off. |

Fi OH got his in Oct and i got mine at Christmas, OH was adding more tunes last night and it wiped off everything he had had on there. He had over 500 songs on there. i have add more to mine just incase they all go This happens everytime he does it |

I keep mine in a music folder and copy into the itunes library, when I want to update...this does mean that I have to delete all the itunes library though. Tina x |

Errol I've just gone into itunes to have a look How do you create a different log-in and how do you wipe out the synchronising option this is all new to me |

LOL Same question from me too please Errol. How do I stop the synchronising option on my ipod to prevent this. I am such a doughnut I can't make head nor tail of the 72 PAGE instruction booklet lolololol xx |

Plug your iPod in and wait for iTunes to load. When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window underneath 'Devices' click on it and the Summary window should display in the main part of the window. Make sure there is a tick next to 'Manually manage music' (you may have to scroll down to see this option) and that should do the trick for you. |
