I often feel like going to bed before the new year is here but there really is no point as there are so many fireworks exploding and ships hooting that its impossible to sleep.

I am with Melanie, but probably wont see the new year in as I will be in bed asleep I hope. Getting too old for that sort of lark. Happy new year to all, when your turn comes.

I will just be an hour ahead and then have to wait to be able to phone family in the UK. So most years bring in the New Year twice. xx Jill
