I've taken the Christmas tree down today, and OH has even taken it down to the dump, now that is a record, it usually stays in the garden until Spring. Sue

Terry, I usually take the tree down on 1st, but this year I wanted it down as soon as. It was quite a big tree so taking up a lot of room, living room looks a lot better now. The bad luck thingy doesn't worry me. Sue

I love the decorations and wouldn't feel right if they were not up on New Year Eve. I usually leave them until about 4th Jan. Not a real tree so it doesn't make a mess and doesn't need disposing of. Ann Glos

Ours is Artificial so I leave it up til the last minute. Cant have real tree cos of the cat,she loves to explore and know to our cost!!! getting tree droppings caught in her paws can cause probs. I takes me many promps to hubby to get the darn tree out of the loft so I like to let it stay up for as long as poss. Shirley

Mine will be all down by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I do like Christmas, but it's always nice to get back to normality.
