Thankyou for your replies. My son who has been round the world for 18 months is in the air now coming back from Singapore he lands at 5.a m so I was wondering how long it would take him.

I had two trips there in the space of a month, about 10 years ago, 3 days the first time, 2 weeks the second. Sadly I didn't get outside the city much, as I was working, but I looked around as much as I could and really liked it - my only criticism is that the main part of the city is almost sterile, its that clean and orderly, and could be any city anywhere in the world... however... when you get off the main roads... you see a bit more colour. Would definitely go again... especially since they seem to have knocked several hours off the flying time ;)

Called in there for a day whilst on a cruise, had a short trip round and tea at Raffles, nearly had an x-ray done there, but there was a cock up with the message I was supposed to receive

Its about 12 to 13 hours, done it a few times when flying from NZ to the UK. The whole trip is about 26 hours, with about 3 on the ground in Singapore

hmm, yes well I seem to have considerably exaggerated itI lol That said, there were delays, both times I went, so maybe that would push it over the 15 hours... don't know where I got 19 from tho lol
