Hello Maid Marion, Thought I was being really brave and not reaching for the tissues. Then they sang Abide With Me and I was gone. Used up the whole box! Then I got a phone call from my mum to ask if I watched the programme and to let me know my dad who's 86 and was a Royal Marine had been marching up and down the living room to the Royal Marine Massed Band. Bless. Now I'm laughing and crying. Aileen xxx

Hi Caz, You should see my dad when they put the Edinburgh Tattoo on. He almost wears out the carpet. He's very proud to have been a Royal Marine. Mum of course tells everyone that none of the other services would have him because he had hammer toes! Parents! Aileen xxxx
