Words of Comfort

I thought that it would be nice to post this poem at this time knowing that some members are grieving for loved ones that they have lost, also we are approaching Rememberance Day when people will be honouring those relatives who gave their lives fighting for their country. Words of Comfort. Feel no guilt in laughter They know how much you care, Feel no sorrow in a smile That they're not here to share, You cannot grieve forever They would not want you to, They'd hope that you would carry on The way you always do, So talk about the good times And the way you showed you cared, The days you spent together All the happiness you shared, Let the memories surround you A word someone might say Will suddenly recapture A time, an hour, a day That brings them back so clearly As though they were still here And fills you with the feelings That they are always near, For if you keep those moments You will never be apart And they will live forever Locked safely in your heart. God Bless to Johnathan Tween, and his brother Joseph, who both fell in the 1st World War, and resting in France and Belgium. You are remembered.

Jeff, That is lovely, could you add that to the list of verses we had for Jennifer's son Stephen, I will nudge the thread. Then we can print out the whole thread with all of them on. Thanks, Liz 'For Jennifer, add your poems, please' is the title of the thread.
