Ive got an ache on my left side, driving me mad (no, I havent been running, lol). Ive had it all day, and being a hypochondriac who never ever visits the doctor, I always worry about the worst lol.

Just above you hip bone,if it's there could be kidney infection.

Hubby just said that too. Yes, sort of above hip bone round the back a bit. Suppose it'll be gone by tomorrow hopefully. Having 3 young children, I always think what if something hapens to me and I die lol. Hubby thinks Im a nutter :-)

With a kidney infection you would usually feel pain when passing water.

Drink plenty of water and if it's still there go and see DR in the morning

Maybe its not a kidney infection then. But thanks for the advice, I'll do something about it tomorrow aft if need be.

If it was your appendix I'm sure you would feel extreme pain......even if the pain goes, still see the Dr to put your mind at rest. Good Luck.

Could also be muscular - have you slept in a funny position or has your mattress seen better days?
