Hi, Went to get washing in from rotary line early this evening and pigeon was sitting on central knob of line. Didn't think too much about it, but thought odd didn't fly away. Went out in dark to hang out tomorrow's washing and pigeon still there on knob. Didn't even fly away when I rotated the line. OH went out to look and said he didn't think it could see very well. It could be the one who nearly knocked itself out flying into an open window the other day. Have just been to look and is still there. Perhaps it thinks line is tree. Please can we have a group healing thought for pigeon? Would bring it in but got 5 cats. Thanks, Janet xx

poor pigeon he may well be blind if he wasn't threatened by you being near him.

Oh poor thing, I don' t suppose it will fare very well even if your cats are inside, something else is sure to get it. Maybe you could put a call out on local radio for someone who knows something about them, if it is still there in the morning. Liz

Hi Janet, I wouldn't worry too much, many pigeons ae very used to people around them. We had one in our garden in Wales that would peck on the patio door if it wanted seed and fly up and sit on my head as I worked in the garden. He soon flew off if any cats arrived though. Baz

Hi Purple, Was still there very last thing last night but by morning had gone. Thanks for asking. There is one which keeps crashing into our window though - may be same one and maybe it does have poor eyesight so thought washing line was tree. J xx
