We're having another 'pink' day at work next month and I have been looking for a tshirt. I saw one on the cancer website and started to order it. Couldn't find my credit card anywhere. I'd been to the co-op in the afternoon (12.45) and hadn't used it since. I rang them up - wrong number listed. Checked the car, bags etc - no sign. At 7.30 p.m I decided to drive up to the store to see if it had been handed in. I parked the car, then noticed a car to the side which could hit me when they backed out and decided to reverse into a parking place. Stepped out of the car and there was my card!!! I grabbed it, kissed it and went home with a grin on my face :-) Lorrainex |

I'm just amazed it was still there. Unless someone had parked over it after I went home which covered it. Lx (still smiling) |

Funnily enough - before I went out I asked 'my angels' to help me - I think they must have heard me! Lx |

I haven't seen them in our M&S yet. I tried to get one last year for our pink day but they had sold out. Thought I'd get in a bit earlier this time. We hold a pink raffle at work too so I'll be hunting around for any pink items. Lx |

Glad you were lucky Lorraine. I had a giggle to myself this afternoon! Coming out of supermarket to walk back to car. Couldn't find my keys. Looked in pockets, purse, bag, starting to panic now.Had I left them on counter or lost them on way in? Holding my hand out to go back in through doors,....there they were........hanging from my little 'Pinky' lol What a relief!! Daft Bat!! Mau ;O))) |

It was a massive relief. I was beginning to get a bit panicky! Maureen lol! Reminds me of my mum one day when she was moaning that I had picked up can of polish - all the time she was going on about it, it was in her hand!!! Lx |

Oh I have done things like that, so worrying. Today I was at a local beauty spot with little Joe, and was rummaging in the boot of the car, then looked for the keys before I closed it, couldn't find them, not in my bag, where were they? Suddenly, a thought, pulled the boot lid down a bit, and there they were still in the boot lock!!! Doh!! I get worse every day! |

Glad I'm not the only one to lose things so easily! Sue, that's a good point - I checked my bank when I couldn't find it and it seemed ok but you never know. My b-i-l has had his details used by someone else so I will have to contact the bank again. Like you say, it was a long time for no-one to have noticed it and the car park, though small, does get a lot of use. Lx PP - talking of keys - my husband pulled over recently at a bus stop as he wanted to walk the dog home for the last few miles. I went to get in the driver's side and he had left the keys in the ignition and it had locked itself. I had to stand there for over two hours waiting for assistance! D'oh! |
