That's ok Stella. My kids wish I was more like their Dad and lie in the mornings but it's just not in me. My mum was just the same as me. Raven

Once I'm awake, I'm up and about. Usually up around 5 am on weekdays. Although not particularly chatty, all the household can be the same and will happily hold conversations if need be - although elder daughter would like her mornings to start a few hours after her work requires.! She has always been the same. Even as a baby she could be relied upon to sleep really well, so I guess some people just naturally require more sleep than others. Gwyn

I am very much a morning person. Love to get up early. If I sleep late I feel I've wasted the best part of the day. I get told off for being too bubbly in the morning. Raven

I like to wake up at my own pace. Husband is a night owl and wants to talk when I am too tired to do anything except grunt! I tend to flag a bit after lunch. Best times for mental alertness are 8.30-12.00 and then probably 5.00-9.30. nell

Are you a morning person? I know that I'm not. When I get up in the morning I like to be quiet for a while, but hubby is talkative and full of energy - drives me nuts !! I have to sit for a while with a cuppa (and ciggie) and just 'come to' and he chats away - I just ignore him !! Stella
