Just been reading article in local rag about cucumbers. Why are they sold in supermarkets with poly. wrapped around them?? Sometimes awkward to get off and they do have their own 'skins'? Answers appreciated lol Mau xx;O)

I'm sure it was designed by men - if you get my drift. Can't stand the stuff myself - neither can hubby - so it doesn't get past my doorframe!

LOL!! Louise Eyes still brimming Harold? It's good to laugh!! Joan.... I remember when my grandson 2 yrs came shopping with me.He was sitting in trolley,and I caught him with a whole cucumber happily eating away, I was concerned because it had the blooming plastic around it, why aren't bananas wrapped in the daft stuff???
