Pretended to be a tourist in your own town.

did last year when we went back to devon I'm a tourist hubby isn't but he didn't let. GOt told a lot about Bovey from people at hotel

Today was our 28th Wedding Anniversary, wanted to do something different. Didnt want to go out for a meal,too stuffy,too many people. We decided to go on a 3hour boat cruise. It was fantastic, just the 2 of us,it was a bit cold,and then the sun came out, we took a picnic bag,the sea breeze,the yachts. We loved every minute of it. It was our Grandsons birthday too,we all met up later, had a birthday tea. Now we are home,and going to open the Baileys. It was lovely looking at my home town with a fresh pair of eyes. A happy little story, and a perfect day. Trish xx

Thanks girls, it really does make a change to do something simple,and so different. Dont always have a day to go so well. Cant even remember when it ever did. So we really made the most of it. Trish xx

Hi Dawn, I love living here, never get tired of it,winter or summer. We are only 10mins away from the Hoe.

Hubby would love to move back down maybe when we retire and children aren't an issue

Perhaps you might one day,who knows, but when you have children,they have to come first. Im off to open my Baileys now, will be first drink for our Anniversary, I best be off before Hubby drinks most of it. Nice talking to you all. Nite nite.
