Could you let me know the model number? I know a couple of sites that may have the manual in electronic format.

Thanks Errol Just tried and the model we have isn't there,this ome belonged to my Son and he only used it now and then,i guess he's had it a while. I have e mailed Sharp . Just wondered if anyone on here had the same model?? Thanks for your help

If you go to http://www(.)sharp(.)co(.)uk/Manuals.aspx (remove the brackets) you can then select the model number from the drop down menu and download the manual as a pdf file. If you don't already have Acrobat Reader there is a link on the page. Hope that helps.

Ive just googled sharp compact microwave and lots of websites came up. You may be able to find the one on one of them

Shirley Compact is the type. I will give it another try Just that son only used one feature and I want to know how to defrost---our old one is one with a clock dial--dead easy
