I found the site, but you have to agree to use them as your attorney or something or other, so went no further than looking at the terms and conditions. If anyone else can explain and confirm to me that there is no catch, I will be interested in using the site. |

The best way to find out your credit rating is to ask your bank manager. I would be very cautiouse of putting personal detail online. Deb |

You can get bad credit ratings for the most stupid reasons ever. Including having library fines! |

I know someone that was refused £35 credit from a warm clothing manufacturer outlet. not a good enough rating... the reason eventually was that she had never owed any body anything, no ccj's no credit cards, every bill was paid straight away by either cash or a bank counter transaction so there was no real credit record......... If you have a good credit rating you don't need to view it. Really I put this up for those who might be having financial difficulties. Instead of having to pay to access your credit rating you can register to find out for free. Some people have a bad credit rating through no fault of their own and advise is given how to deal with any mistakes that have been made. Some people have difficulty in understanding why their credit rating is low, this may help We are all at risk from hackers, this site is secure as any. |

In which case Paul you won't have a credit rating. You have to go into debt and pay it off without defaulting to aquire a good credit rating. Bizarre, but it seems to be the system the financial world works on. |

Nope, no need for me to look at it. My credit rating is fine. Never had any debts, credit cards, store cards or anything of the sort. |

I'd be a bit cautious putting details into a website which isn't well known. |

The guy who runs this site was interviewed on Radio 5 Live yesterday. This site has been set up so that everyone can view their credit ratings and the details. If the details pertaining to you or your address are wrong then you will be able to change them. They will advise you on how to do this. Not all areas are on line yet but they are coming online within the next few months. Try it and see. The site is secure. www. annualcreditreport*co.uk replace * with a dot Kat :) |
