I laughed all the way through Shrek. What's more embarrassing is I didn't have any kids with me - just a mate who's as daft as I am. (Admittedly though it wasn't the film we'd intended seeing.) Joyx |

My friend and I took our children to the pictures (years ago) We saw the animated 'Sword in the Stone'. The bit where Merlin talks about people being able to fy in the future... he wound the propellor of a little plane up to show how it would fly. In doing so he wound his beard around it. When he threw the plane out of the window it just dropped straight to the ground! The owl he had been talking to went into hysterics.... I know none of you are laughing, but Betty and I went into fits and completely humiliated our children!! I suppose you had to be there.... sorry... LOL Deanna X |

We took our kids - well the oldest 2 as dont think baby would have got it lol - to see Cars yesterday. Some really funny adult type jokes that the kids wouldnt have got in a million years but because we laughed all the kids laughed as well. The funniest part though was the little girl just sat up from us who said at least 20 times during the film - has it finished yet!!!!!!!!!!!! reminded me of *are we there yet* pmsl |

Malc - I love Garfield - I think it's that there is subtle hidden humour in it that adults 'get' more than kids do .............lol |
