Did anyone watch it last night?' It really Is awful that this young man and his family have not had Justice! I do hope they manage to Bring the case to court again but this time with all the evidence, it was a sham from start to finish!

Too right, Roxanne. It makes me so angry that I can't really write about it coherently. Gwynne

The more I read about things like this, the more naive I feel......I trust the Police, and yet you see things like this......I am so sad for the Lawrence family........if it is proved to be true.....

The programme was excellent, I think there will be a huge out cry!I do hope so. I have to say I thought the Lady who told her story was very brave.

morning roxanne, because of police corruption, the ' guilty ' were always one step ahead of the law, i don't think the police were particularly racist, more greedy for back-handers in brown envelopes. bryan.

I agree Bryan, Its a sad state of affairs when even the police can be bought, the evidence was there 100%.

Hi Roxanne I'm going to watch it tonight but I have read about it and it doesn't surprise me - everything was handled so badly. Five men have openly got away with murder but I am sure that justice will eventually be done. I can't imagine what the Lawrences have gone through and I admire the way they have dealt with things so much.

Hi... I taped it and watched it this morning. Sickening that those paid to protect us can let us down so badly. The other thing is that it gives the GOOD ones such a terrible reputation to live down. I hope something good comes of this. Deanna X

Roxanne we watched this programme with appalled interest. I felt so sorry for Stephen's parents. Interestingly in the paper today it says Scotland Yard rejected any claim that evidence had been kept from the inquiry. Also on the BBC website it says there have been about 50 phone calls regarding new information about the case. I thought the reporter was very good and obviously has ruffled more than a few feathers!! Sue

This has been appalling from start to finish. That poor boy has had no justice and I hope I'm wrong but I think if someone has already been tried and found innocent they can't be tried again for the same crime. Please let me be wrong. Dorothy

Hi David, you will find it shocking but not surprising, It was so obvious that they did it. Dorothy, I think that if the find more evidence or that corruption was found they can do a re-trial, maybe someone with a better knowledge of the law can tell us. I hope they are convicted.
