heard of or got a 'Hills Hoist' ? It is a rotary clothes dryer which winds up high - first made in Australia. They now sell them in the UK, think it may be made in Wales, but I cannot find one anywhere - does anyone know where I can get one please? Stella |

Done that Lisa - but have never used Ebay - wouldn't they be 2nd-hand ones on there? I really want a new one. |

you can get new items on there as well, check item description. Have you googled them to see if there is a UK distributor. Lisa xx |

No problem - I have one - my Aussie neighbour just last week asked where I got it - best thing since sliced bread. 3-4 years ago B & Q Warehouse stocked them - £100. HOWEVER and this is the good news Argos have one - practically the same for £50. Neighbour went hotfoot to Argos last week! Looking out of my window at my neighbours and mine - only difference I can see is the colour!!!!!!! Ann |

They are big - will take 2-3 family washes - can spread out KS duvet on it and best of all - one does not struggle to put them up and down and then when they are loaded just turn the handle and the line goes up in the air and catches all the little breezes and you can walk under the line instead of dodging around it. |

Hi Penny. They are different because they are made of all metal - very robust and they have a handle so you can wind them up really high. Everyone in Australia has one - we lived there at one time, but now they have them here in the UK - just want to know where !! Stella |
