Jobs to do ... 1) Bike, belonging to son's friend, has a flat back tyre ... and having looked at it, I daren't touch it - it must have 16 gears !!! ..so might need to take it back to it's rightful owner in current state :-( 2) Wash hair in readiness for hairdresser coming tonight. 3) Be round at daughters before 12.30 to let builder in ... but can't leave till they arrive. 4) Get all washing, drying and ironing done today ... cos can't do it tomorrow. 5) Housework - prefereably BEFORE hairdresser comes tonight !! 6) Have neighbours baby for 3/4 hour whilst she does some packing 7) Get round to Dad's house before tomorrow ... 8) Stay sane, considering most of this has to be done before 12.30. Why am I sitting here ? ... not sure ..!!! Elaine ;-( |

I'd say you've got no chance... but youre a woman, and you can supposedly multi-task, so no doubt you'll cope. That said, its unlikely the bike has 16 gears... 18 possibly... |

Good.....you've made a start. Hair can be drying while you load up washing machine, washing can be washed while you flick round housework, then mind baby. Hand baby back and do ironing.( or leave ironing until later.... Does it HAVE to be done by 12.30?) See. You're doing well. Not so much left to do Gwyn |

Just give it 2 coats of looking at and a final coat of thinkin about-that should do the trick. |

Jess Bow Bag | Report | 12 Jul 2006 10:48 |
Zoe - i do actually iron my knickers , and his boxers, iron pretty much everything really. that is after it has come in from the line , where it had to be pegged out 'just so':- Socks pegged in pairs T-shirts hung over , pegs in armpits only, ditto jumpers Pillow slips by the open end Jeans trousers by the waist band shirts upside down by the side seams Duvet covers half and half ( exactly) over the outside line on the rotary, pulled right out fitted sheets by the inside of the box corners.. shall i go on? i'm almost obsessive about laundry!Stems from my childhood! I understand your compulsion Jess. And is it inside out, ? I'm the same with washing on the line and even match up the colours of pegs if possible so that 2 socks of a pair will have the same colour..... How sad is that? I always hang trousers by the pockets, inside out by the way. I find they dry better. Gwyn |
