Hi Lucia My daughter works in a school and today was the day for updating their CRB's Earlier this week in assembly the headteacher asked the children if any one had been nice to them and would they like to tell the rest of the school A litlle 4yr old put her hand up and said Miss Lea was nice to me on Saturday at the fun day. She nicked a Winnie the Pooh ball for me, some more of the children put their hands up and said that Miss Lea had nicked balls for them as well My daughter had to explain that her older sister was one of the organisers of the fun day and had given her the balls for the kids So this afternoon the headmistress asked if she was going to put nicking footballs down in her CRB, then said perhaps it not a good idea because we have on Ofsted inspection next week Bren |

Lucia in the aftermath of the Soham tragedy everyone that works with children has to have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, no matter how old they are. The CRB check lasts for 2 years then has to be redone. This is done for the protection of the children. Kris |

Crimewatch? that reminds me... I'm awaiting disclosure forms because the police are doing a criminal check on me (I'm working with kids in the summer). Do they really have to check me? I'm sweet an' innocent an' all. lol :-) |
