I have shingles and have had it for the last two and a half weeks, its starting to dry up a bit now but is oh so sore and painful. Have a big patch under my shoulder blade and it goes under my arm and round my left boob. Will it ever go - the doc says about another week . Feel so tired with it as well. LIz |

My partner has had it several times the Dr's cant seem to do anything about it! He always gets it on his right cheek & ear. He says he can tell when it's going to come out as he gets a tingling feeling in the back of his head. Hope you feel better soon Liz Nikki |

I have never had it myself but two of my friends have had it. It's apparently V E R Y painful, makes you very tired and takes a while to shrug off. You need to get plenty of rest to speed up the process, so take it easy. Hope you are feeling a bit better soon. Margaret |

My hubby had it on his legs and it was very painful. I had it once on my face woke up on morning said to my son I think I have been bit he looked said NO get to the doctors. I went said think I have been bit no he said it is shingles.Think I must have been very lucky he gave me some tablets and I got very little pain for the itch I used to dab it with lavendar oil and it took the itch/ pain away and no scars. I swear by lavendar oil. So many uses and very safe. If the itch/ pain is still there I would give it a try. Germaine x |
