Should that be changed to THANKS Liverpool Football Players - reminds me of a 5-1 win against Germany when Fowler was playing for England and every goal was scored by a Liverpool player. Lampard missed a few sitters yesterday as did other players but trust OUR LIVERPOOL LADS to come through for the Country now celebrating a great victory after a terrible first half. Come on the boys! :) Lyn x Bet you can't guess which of the two Liverpool teams I support lol

well, i wasn't going to add to this, but i agree with valerie. it was only when england put on two wingers, that they began to look half decent....englands best player by far was john terry. bryan.

Well, I have to say I have not kept up much with football since leaving England but I wanted to chop a foot of the height of Crouch..... what a lot of bad shots he made, until Beckham put one right on his head!! I have to say in all honesty I was obviously rooting for England at first but my allegience was swaying in the end and I wish that the Soca Warriors had scored that last goal.... Jacquie xxxxx

it was one of the worst games I have ever seen , we played badly could have scored a lot more Goals , and if we need Rooney to win then we have had it ,what happens if he gets injured again??? And why didnt Crouchy do his dance I was looking forward to that .

Excellent defending by John Terry on the goal line!!! I also thought the team turned around when Rooney came on. Trinidad had some good chances too though - they played well but we edged 'em out! Tracey

Theres no easy games at this level, the Germans will remember the 5-1 drubbing they got on home ground by England, and they're not as good as they used to be.

I would just like to thank England last night for forcing me to eat my fingernails down to the b**e. But i would like to say WELL DONE lads. They had some determined opposition there with T and T and they played well, but on the day England were far better. Rooney was brilliant he transformed the side as soon as he came on. Lennon WOW, GERRARD superb, Crouch 7/10, Beckham 8/10, Terry 9/10. please add on if you like=============== signing off a nervous wreck!!!!!!!!!!!>>>>!!!!!!
