Dentist - Good morning Me - good morning (so far so good) Dentist - here is your X-ray I took last week, and everything looks good - but I can see a tooth up there which hasnt come through - there is no need to worry about it. Me - Oh that's OK, thats just one of my fangs, they only come out on dark nights when there's a full moon... Dentist - Pardon? Me, Oh, I'm sorry - I have a quirky sense of humour Dentist - hmmmmmm - yeeees Rest of visit held in uncomfortable silence..... |

Here's another... When I went back to Doctor to go on pill after son was born:- Doctor - Its called Microgynon 30 Me - Oh that's nice, thanks, I'm actually going on 32 Doctor - I dont understand. Me I was just thanking you for the compliment, you said 'are you going on 30' Doctor - sorry, no - I was telling you the name of the pill, its called Microgynon 30 Needless to say I am partially deaf..... Every time I saw him after that I used to go bright red. |

I once met this fantastically dishy man at a party and everything was going superbly till I asked him what he did for a living. I am a Juror he said A Juror? said I, I didnt know you could do that for a living? Yes, you can, he said, giving me a very odd look. Oh, said I, I thought they picked you from a list - you have to be over 21 and a respectable householder or something, don't you? No, I am a JEWELLER.
