thanks Gwynne, she IS lovely, but has no belief in herself at all. She needs a bit of fun (etc !!!) but it is a battle to get her to go anywhere. I have told her it will be a laugh, she need never see any of them again, it's only 2 minutes etc etc, but she just says she would be too embarassed to speak. She's been on her own for a few years and I would love to see her relax and enjoy herself - she so deserves it! Maz. XX |

Just had a thought - can you imagine speed dating for pensioners - it would be slowcoach dating cos half of them wouldn't be able to hear, and it would take most of them ages to move around, then the rest would have lost their teeth and would have to say everything twice before they were understood, then they would have to keep going to the loo, and holding up the proceedings!!! and so on and so on.....lol |
