Shirley - that made me laugh - pictured someone running after a soggy moving mop head! Has that convinced your new neighbours you are barking? lol Take care, Liz

Purple, i wouldn't be without her, but i must admit i was not a pretty sight and at that point of time i thought i must be mad chasing round the street in the pouring rain after her, she is a right little cowbag, she stops and waits till i nearly get to her then she runs like the clappers, i can tell you there were some choice words being said under my breath. She is a long haired Lahssa Apso, so she just looks like a mop on the loose. Shirley Ann.

Shirley, have had that happen to me a few times when I had Daisydog. Got up one morning and stumbled into kitchen wearing housecoat, and opened the door to let Daisy out, while I made a cuppa. As it was raining hard, I closed the door and then looked out after 5 minutes to call her back in, to find the back gate had blown down (I think or some toerag had kicked it down) and the dog gone. Had to run down the street in my housecoat with mac on top looking for her - found her nosing around in the dog walk area of the park down the road from me! Did she get a ticking off from me, and I had to mend the gate later that day too. Would have her back tho any day - it was 8 years yesterday that she had to be put to sleep after a major op for mammary cancer didn't help keep her with us.
