Going to Legoland next week - Any Tips

Entrance fee is expensive, I believe, but sometimes you can get money-off coupons eg. on milk containers a while ago in Tesco. Have you got any? |

Hi, We went a few years ago and there was a few water rides there, (probably more now) so i suggest a raincoat or change of clothes..!! We had to walk round soaking wet, not very comfy.!! Jackie x |

Hi thanks for the replies, managed to get a good package deal which included tickets through superbreak a few months ago. Just hope the weather is good, dont like the idea of queuing for rides in the rain!!! Liz |

right.... firstly take a packed lunch it costs a bomb to eat in there cafes, secondly take kagouls or similar there is at least one wet ride and you DO get wet esp if the rats don't stop firing their cannons at you ( you'll understand once on the ride), thirdly comfy shoes - you'll do loads of walking. fourth... walk down the hill viewing the mini world and other bits as you, get the cable car back up, cos you'll be cream crackered by end of day. can't think of anything else off top of my head.. except have a great time.. we did!! OOOOOhhhhhh there is a ride at the top of the hill don't miss it, as it's not wel signposted. You get to chose a lego person to be, then you all race each other in lego cars, all stimulated, but good fun. |

Just checked their website to remind me of the rides...it's been a couple of yrs since we last visited. It's pirate falls where the rats shoot you with water cannons, another water ride is extreme team challenge and Adventurers' Wave Surfer is another. you may also get wet on the mazes, and in the waterworks section.. in facts kids get soaked here esp if its a hot day. cor I had forgotten half these rides LOL OH says plan your day well, as when we visited we couldn't do it all in one day, we was lucky and able to go back. |

my only tip is take lots of drinks coz they cost a bomb there and have a fantastic time, took my kids last year, it was great oh yer and make sure you take your coat & jumper of before panning for gold, however cold it is...coz it aint as cold as walking round in soggy clothes all day...the adventure playground is good for a break from queuing |
