now now I'm being clean here. Having this horrible bit of cement taken off my tooth and having my crown fitted. Downside is it probably means another injection. |

I hated having the mould done to create a crown - its like play dough & made me gag. It felt like I was in casualty. The dentist said ''Get her up - quick!!!!!'' |

I've had a crown for ten years right in the front and over the years the metal post bend so it was beginning to stick out like a fang!!! So have jsut had my new crown fitted this tuesday - need to take out a seocnd mortgage to cover the cost though - £295 for one crown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, it is a thousand times better than the fang that was there. Dentists must make a fortune. Jayne |

Hope all goes well Dawnie. I hate having dental treatment. It's unpleasant and over here (Switzerland) you really pay through the teeth ....... sorry about that! Where is your crown? If it is one of the big front teeth, I agree, the injection is nothing to look forward too, but if it's elsewhere it won't be as bad. Try keep telling yourself, that it will only last a few seconds and take some nice deep breaths during the process. Be thinking of you. It'll be all worth it and you'll end up with a beautiful crown and smile! Good luck and keep us posted. Margaret |
