I got married in a nice frock which I bought 3 days before the register office do. I've never gone in for frills, flounces etc and big weddings for show don't impress - especially when so many of them end in divorce. Don't think white suits many people either. Anyway, the most interesting wedding outfit I ever saw was a friend's wedding. Parents loaded with dosh, insisted on traditional church do, organ, choir, limosine etc. Bride wore a gold leather jacket, bronze leather top and a brassy leather skirt. Looked utterly fantastic and had the result of stopping her father from making any further comments about the unsuitability of the groom!!!!!!!!! nell |

Did both - of course that does mean somewhere in the middle you need a divorce. There is no reason though why you couldn't have both - why have one dress when you could have one for the ceremony and one for the reception. No 2 wedding was registry office and I have full length old gold medieval style dress with a HUGE bouquet and encrusted crown. So in my book (as you can see) anything goes - if you want it, have it x |

Well I'm planning my Civil Partnership ceremony for three days before Christmas and what I really fancy is red top and trousers, made of something nice and shiney, then a really long over top thing, in purple with lots of beads and sparkle. Jane |
