There's nothing nicer than eating sumat you've grown yourself,eh?? (children not included!! lol) There's peas, carrots, tatties, broccoli & cabbage this year i'm told so i'm sure they will appear on the sunday table as they come into season!!! Raspberries last year were mmmmmmm as they were in direct sunlight most of the time...lovely and sweet!!! Gooseberries (we used to call the goosegogs!) don't make it inside neither they get top'd and tailed as you eat them!!! Rhubarb is best freshly picked from garden then dunked in sugar!!

oooooh!! I love home grown carrots they taste much more carroty than force grown watery ones.....mum & dad grow a few veggies and the peas never make it to the table as they get eaten from the pod when we're in the garden!!!
