AOL is irrelevant, as thats just your internet provider, defragging is done at the operating system level, its just tidying up your hard disk, nothing to do with the internet as such. from the start menu, go to Programs, then Accessories, then system tools, and from there you can select the defragmentation utility |

nothing to do with AOL , go in all programmes system tools and then defragmate easy peasy! may take a while though if you not done it before. Davex |

before defrag, it might be an idea to do a disc- clean first. bryan. |

Best to turn off all running programs before doing it as that will slow it down even more. Try to defrag once a week too. |

Bryans right, doing a bit of a disk cleanup first might help - less files to move around the disk then ! |
