Oh.. I've gone all dizzy with all these spooky relationships. Sure I'll come across one or two somewhere as my mother and fathers families only lived streets apart for over 50 years before they met. I only hope I don't find any too closely related. lol Paul... that is really spooky. Jean x.

The freakiest time ever happened not long after I started researching. I was at the LDS in Coventry looking through a film of the parish records of Lowestoft (Dad's home town). The regular LDS volunteers were on holiday and a nice man called John was there instead. He looked over my shoulder and asked which records I was looking through. When I told him he 'stepped back in amazement' because he was born in Lowestoft as well. He asked if I had any Clarks on my tree. I replied that Dad's sister married Wally Clarke. Wally was John's Dad's brother! So that made him first cousin to my first cousin, Wally's daughter. We exchanged some more information the following week and I discovered that he and I were also 4th cousins via another line. Gwynne

spoooooky I've got a good one too lol. Was researching Sharons tree a while back, and was looking up a marriage for her gt grandparents. Found the reference on freeBMD, looked at the page and... the only other couple listed were MY great grandparents...

Among my hot matches this morning was one good match, so I emailed the person and we have exchanged information. As I was working my way down her tree from the ancestor she has in common with OH I saw a name I thought I recognised. She and her family used to live around the corner from us and her Mum and I used to walk up and down to the school together. She and my OH are 4th cousins. Freaky, eh? Gwynne
