I’ve just had an email from a lawyer in Nigeria offering me half of 7.5 million dollars for pretending to be the next of kin of someone who died in 2002. He will keep the other half. If this lawyer doesn’t find a next of kin then the government keep the money. This is probably just a hoax but if not what a nerve.

Prosecute me if you must, but when I see money and a certain country together, I suspect a scam. Happy days

Joseanne; it is definately a hoaxe, have been getting these types of email for over a year. We have a email fraud squad at our local police station and an addie we just forward these types of emails to. Anyone asking for your bank account info is looking to clean your account. Although they could have mine as there's never any money in it lol. Everyone should take precautions with these types of emails. Some are also coming with a bank logo indicating they are your bank and need info from you. In Canada banks will only email you directly thro their site not by personal email. Regards Deb
