Anne.... it states quite clearly that cancer was not pre-diagnosed and only discovered at post mortem so I'd like to see the insurance company get out of that one!! :O)

They are complete gems..... the doctor that completed it was the one Andy spoke to the day he was admitted and I spoke to after the diagnosis and he's been BRILLIANT!! They have gone out of their way to show me that NO-ONE was aware of the cancer. xx

Very kind of them. Same can't be said for the insurers can it? We also have photos to prove you were there! Daisy

They seriously are a joke..... 1. Medical certificate needed filling in for reasons already stated. 2. Receipt for cost of flight not enough - need to prove I actually flew that day (Good job me kept everything) Like people are going to pay for a flight and not use it!! I'm appalled to find out that had his condition be pre-diagnosed then they would not have paid out as there was a SMALL CHANCE he would die whilst I was away..... So someone can have cancer for 10 years and their family are not supposed to travel in case they die!! Like people would go away knowing their parent was likely to die!! They drive me insane!!

Had to get a form completed for insurance purposes stating their medical opinion as to his cause of death!! i.e they were trying to get out of it by saying that if I knew he was sick i shouldn't have gone! Anyway, the normal charge for form completion is £30 and they charged me NOTHING!! How sweet are they?
