Love him or hate him? If elected, in my opinion he will be a wishy washy version of Tony. We want a strong man in charge of the country and I don,t think he fits the bill - think he is trying to be all things to all people. He cycles to work - admirable - but his chauffered Lexus car travels behind him. What kind of message is that. Tell me I,m an idiot - or right. # Happy days

Harry I have to say I am very disappointed in David Cameron. He is not addressing the traditional Tory voters. I would have much preferred David Davis, who, to my mind does speak for people like me who are more right of centre politically. The whole reason why some are moving to extremist parties like the BNP is because they feel powerless and don't feel they have a voice. The Conservatives are fools to themselves, they have a weak and corrupt government out there for the taking and they are sitting back concerning themselves with environmental issues instead of taking their opportunities to rid us of TB and his cronies. xx

I thought at first that he might be a breath of fresh air. That was until I learnt that the publicity stunt on his green polices was a load of old crock! A big deal was made of the fact that he cycled to work every morning, what now emerges is that an unmarked car follows him with his briefcase etc! So, as far as I'm concerned he's just another lying politician, Same old, same old.....

When will you ever learn ? No matter which party is in power the first thing they do is give themselves a massive pay rise, then its all broken promises and lies. I dont trust any of them.

Not much support then. I wondered about the mentality of the man when he accused UKIP supporters of being nutters. I very much sympathise with UKIP policies and I would gamble that virtually all the older tory voters also have some sympathy with them. Thanks for your interest. Happy days

David, think his car is on the road every day he is, whether in it, cycle or bus. This and his recent'green' trip seema bit gimicky to me. Seems a nice enough fellow, but i always thought tories were supposed to be a little right of centre and Labour a bit the other way and we made a choice between them. Both he and Tony seem to be competing for the middle ground. Just my opinion, doesn,t mean to say I,m right. Happy days
