Erm, no, Lynda, we know one another reasonably well, I think, but not that well ! :-) Catchprases are interesting, I'd forgotten that one ''dodgy''. Now what happened to Norman Vaughan, I wonder. |

Lynda My sister and I got free tickets to see Sunday Night at the London Palladium. It was televised live then,we were teenagers and were so excited. Frankie Vaughan was the star of show,Bruce Forsyth was compere. We thought we were so cool. LOL It was the first time we'd been to London and we were on a weeks holiday. The gameshow all seems very old-fashioned to us now! Happy memories though. Mau ;0)))))))) |

Yes Lynda we felt real grown up.Wearing our'duster coats' and winkle picker shoes lolol Frankie Vaughan was lovely, we met him once at our local boys/girls club. He did a lot for youngsters in the 1950s and 60s. Real down to earth guy.no edge to him at all. Mau x ;0) |

Hi Maureen, when I used to buy and make jewellery, I used a supplier who's whole workforce idolised Frankie Vaughan, there were pictures of him everywhere, and wherever he was on they would go and see him. They had all met him and said what a wonderful caring man he was. Lynda |
